Q: What's the dress code?

A: LOOK HOT!!! Think punk prom, cocktail attire with an edge, dressy-punk, the music video for Helena by My Chemical Romance.

Q: What's the schedule?

A: 4:30pm EST is the "power hour" to get settled for the ceremony. We will begin at 5:30pm, followed by a transitional mini reception. Around 7pm is when bands, food, and dancing will begin! Around 11pm we will head out to the afters!

Q: Are kids allowed?

A: We kindly ask that children do not attend, but if childcare is a difficulty we will help you work something out! If children do attend, we require they have adequate hearing protection for the reception.

Q: What kind of food can we expect?

A: Breakfast food! We will be serving up some breakfast classics buffet-style. There will be vegan and non-vegan options, as well as coffee, juices, etc. There will also be alcohol (stay tuned for special drinks!).

Q: What's the venue accessibility look like?

A: The first floor of the First Unitarian Church is wheelchair accessible, with a ramp along the Van Pelt Street entrance. The Church is quite old, thus it has old, primarily stair infrastructure. Unfortunately the only way to the basement (reception) area is via stairs at this time. The FU Church is in the process of raising funds to renovate their building, which will include plans for an elevator down to the basement. Find out more info and how to donate here!

Q: Can I smoke?

A: Yes! Outdoors! Just be respectful.

Q: What if I want to give the happy couple a gift?

A: We are asking folks to donate to our honeymoon fund :) Details forthcoming.
